So I can not begin to explain to you how AMAZING God is. He works in the most incredible ways... hours ago my sister and I were just praying for my mom and talking about God and how he's changed our lives.. and then not an hour goes by.. and God works in his indescribable ways.. and my mom accepted Christ into her life!!!!!

Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the gaol to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. - Philippians 3:13-14

Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him.  He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.  My salvation and my honor depend on God;  he is my mighty rock, my refuge.Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him,  for God is our refuge.
- Psalm 62: 5-8

There's always a better way
there's always a bridge that needs crossings
there's always the straight and the narrow
the wide and the shallow
But I know that you're guiding me
and the best is yet to come
You've given me hope for tomorrow
and I know some day

I'll wake up to find
Your glory defined
and I will finally bow at your feet
I will lift up your name in honor and praise
when I cross over Jordan
I know that I'll be running home to you

It's always the simple things
it's always the obvious that crashes over me
It's always in front of me
it helps me to remember
this is what I live for
and I can't wait

there's never a question in your message
never a moment without your presence
there's never a doubt in my mind
that I'll

I'll wake up to find
Your glory defined
and I will finally bow at your feet
I will lift up your name in honor and praise
when I cross over Jordan
I know that I'll be running home to you

So I am totally slacking on the whole updating.. lets see.. things with school are CRAZY right now, it's Midterm time and everyone likes to throw papers and tests at you left and right.. so you can imagine *stressed to the max*. I had a Corrective and Remedial Reading Midterm this morning which was only 25 questions.. but there was soo MUCH information to study.. but I think I got an A on that  My teacher is seriously the SPITTING IMAGE of Ned Flanders from the Simpsons.. he talks, acts, and dresses like him. It's quite funny.. makes me think of Barbara and the blue trashcan.. " Look I'm Marg Simpson. *holding the trashcan on her head* love you! This past weekend was Meredith and Ed's wedding!!! BEAUTIFUL and so fun.. loved getting to see everyone, especially some friends I haven't seen since we graduated high school and all went off to college! It's crazy to see how much we've grown up and where everyone is today.

After the wedding a bunch of us went out to Bennigans and ate and what not.. soo much fun.. I miss hanging out with everyone and how everyone is all over the state! :( Anyways so we go to leave and Kyle couldn't find the keys to Anna's car.. well you guessed right.. they were inside.. haha so if you can imagine all 6 girls outside dressed up in dresses and its freezing.. so we have sweatshirts on over our dresses and people are driving by lookin at us like were IDIOTS! So we stand there and watch the guys try to break into the car.. which was not going so well.. then this hispanic guy drove up and tried to help... unsuccessful.. so finally after we're on our way to Anna's to get a key.. hours later, they get it unlocked!!! Yessss!

We got our bridesmaid dresses in for Anna's wedding! Ahhh they are BEAUTIFUL and i stinkin can not WAIT!! I love that girl and her and Kyle are soo amazing together and yay soo excited! Well on Saturday before the wedding we went to go pick up the Pat Green tickets for Justine, Barb, and Jessica.. because I couldnt go because of the wedding.. which i was way sad about because I bought them in like May.. but weddings are a once in a lifetime thing so I HAD TO BE THERE! :) But Barbara called me on like EVERY song we both knew and sang together at the top of our lungs in the car and at the rodeo last year.. so what an amazing friend she was for that! whooop! So Molly and I had a lil mini Pat Green concert when we got back around 2 am on Saturday night.. listening to all my voicemails..

Well these past couple weeks have been quite difficult and draining and an emotional rollercoaster.. at times I felt like I couldn't go on but thats not the case ever because God's always there.. when no one else is.. He's the one that's always there, the one I always need to put my trust into. Guys frustrate the living daylights out of me though.. I just don't understand them and when you try and be sweet and nice and get your hopes up and think about things non stop.. they decide to be poopy and either ditch you, go out with someone else, or stop talking to you.. yea really mature and we're all  in our 20's but yet we act like we're in Junior High! woohoo..

Anyways sorry about that rant.. barbara came to the rescue when I was down and gave me this quote which is AMAZING and yet sooo true..  "A womans heart should be so hidden in God that a man has to seek GOD to find HER." I TOTALLY love that quote..ugh just love how its soo stinking true!!! I can't focus on that my focus needs to be on God and when the time comes it will happen. Here's a verse that has kept me going these past couple days, God never fails and will NEVER fail me..

2 Corinthians 12: 9-10
But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Man God is just so amazing and my life is not that great right now but He will never give me anything I can't handle I just have to trust in Him and focus on him and give everything to him.

Well some stuff has been going on with friends lately and they've been in the hospital. Lindsey's doing okay which is good. I ask you all to pray for Cliff and his family, he has been in the hospital since Friday.. which started out because he couldnt breathe, and now he isn't responding to anything and is on life support and it does not look good. I met him through Aaron and Sadie, and they are really close to him... so pray for them and keep Cliff in your prayers.. Thanks you guys, its greatly appreciated! I love you guys so much, thanks for always being there.. Justine, Barb, and everyone else! Love you!

Well it's been over a month.. so I think it's time to update, don't ya think?  So much has been going on..I celebrated my 21st birthday on September 11!! Woohoo.. what an amazing birthday that was. I have the most amazing friends and it was so wonderful. Barbara and Justine threw me a suprise party with all our friends.. which was amazing, thank you guys soo much. I love you bunches! They gave me a build-a-bear!! She's soo cute and her name is Bailey!! I was so suprised.. never suspected any of it! We had some fun times i must say, dribble dribble, *throws arms down by side* " i had a dream about a horse and i was riding it, i guess it was because the rodeo." So many fun times and memories i have with all of us and I cheerish them. Then I celebrated my birthday at Cheesecake Factory with dad and stepmom and stepsisters, Crystal, Molly, and Laura.:) Then Sunday my actual birthday I went to Texas Roadhouse with mom, sister, and friends! Fun times. I am just so blessed to have such amazing friends and family and i'm extremely thankful. You all contributed to making it the best birthday EVER!

School started.. and it's been pretty crazy and it's going to be a stressful semester.. it already has begun! We didnt have school for over a week! Last Wednesday when all this hurricane shmurricane stuff was going on U of H canceled classes Wed at 12! Yess.. right before I had to leave to go to them.. thank goodness because I did NOT want to drive back in all that traffic and it take me 12 hours! um thanks but no! School doesnt start back up for me till Monday, the 3rd! What a nice break it has been.. but things are going to be NUTS when we start back up because midterms are suppose to be going on now.. but that isn't going to happen because we haven't prepared or anything for it. So that should be way fun! The hurricane or shall i say "cold front" came through and we made it out okay. We were very well prepared thanks to my mom :)

We lost power Friday around 7:30 and it didn't come back on till Sunday morning... so my friend Molly that has been living with me for about a month or so.. used to work at the Hilton Garden Inn and she went up to help with all the evacuees who gave up on trying to get out on 45 and just drove to the hotel and stayed. So she got us a free room so we wouldnt have to stay in the HOT HOT house. So that was pretty sweet.. saw like 5 people from high school while staying there and had some way fun times!

Things have been pretty rough and a lot of things goin on in my life right now.. so blah. It's hard but I know that God is at work and he will only give me what I can handle. These trials i'm going through now are only going to make me a stronger person and make me rely on God more. Easier said then done... "singing" *everything's alright.. everything, everythings alright.. *  ABS started up also, which has been amazing so far! I love my girls and I love working with Erin! She's the most amazing person ever! I love you! We have 6th graders and they are just soo cute and are so eager to learn... I can't wait to see what God has in store for all of us this year with abs and in our lives! The bible study that we are doing is a lot of work but you learn SO MUCH.. it's amaazing!!! *stands in awe* Speaking of Abs is tonight.. woohoo.. followed by Survivor party at Erins with everyone :)! Well sorry for the long update but I have been bugged by many to update.. so i did! Woop! Love you guys and have a wonderful day!!
